  Yes 100% Haunted

  Hello I lived adjacent to the park and played there for 17 years between 1974 and 1990. There was always a strange feeling in the park and a sense that you were watched. The worst was the paranormal activity in our home witnessed by many. Cabinets opening, strange sounds, toaster ignited spontaneously and strange people were drawn to our home. I remember a force banging on our door one night while my mom held it from the other side. No one was at the door but we saw dents where the entity was banging. As children, we couldn’t sleep because of the terrible dreams. My brother and sister slept in my room most of the nights. I guess you can say the spirits stayed out of my way lol However, there was one night that I found myself levitating. I was definitely dreaming but I remember it clearly and felt the drop back into the bed. And yes there was a van taking children in the area as we had many school warning letters sent home in our book bags. Terrifying ! If you ask any Hillside native they will tell you that Hillside NJ was and is an interesting place but very haunted. Looking back I understand that the conant area in general has a strange energy.
