The Murry and Leonie Guggenheim Memorial Library is located at Monmouth University and was originally built in 1905 as the summer home of mining and smelting entrepreneur Murry Guggenheim. Built in 1710, this library is haunted by Phyllis Parker, a tavern owner's daughter. It is said she was in love with a doctor who was hanged for treason and went insane when she found out he died.
